I think the reason this is happening to so many youtubers is because of the platform and fame it offers to anyone. Anyone could abuse the power that they have over fans. Couple that with the relaxed culture; despite the strict rules implemented over the past couple years. When power goes unchecked in the wrong hands bad things happen.
