The Snyder Steppenwolf's armour was definitely an improvement but it looked like they spent all their time and budget on that and not the weird cg monstrosity that was his face; seriously it looks like something out of a Disney movie.

I get what you say about animators then had like a couple of years of experience vs now they can have 25... but in entertainment industry (specially the top of the line in interest and money) no matter how new the tech is they always get not only talented but also experienced artists, so when the tech is new they get people from the old tech or other artistic backgrounds to help bring it to life.

I don’t like how Snyder’s movies especially this one look 1000% CGI, and yes Steppenwolf’s CGI and character is better but I don’t think his design is an improvement. The metal spikes are pretty over the top and his other design resembles the comics more, but the face is much better. Also I freaking hate the aspect ratio!
